When Patrick, the landlord, rattles the pots and pans in the Kranebitt kitchen, then it smells of small but exquisite culinary delights! Giving you a fantastic, convivial start to your day’s holiday is extremely important to us. Our breakfast buffet boasts many top-quality delicacies from the region. Throughout the day until 5 pm you can treat yourself to special gourmet moments from our small afternoon bistro menu.

What could be better than to start the day with a fantastic breakfast! Fresh bread rolls from the patisserie in Brixen, home-made fruit jams, home-made juices, cheese, savoury delights from the local, family-run butcher’s shop, fruit - picked fresh from our garden in summer -, fresh egg dishes and more: we set great store by the selection and quality of our produce.

For when you’re feeling peckish: From Noon there are special gourmet moments from our small bistro menu just waiting to be tried by you (12:00-17:00, except Wednesdays). We will be happy to serve these by the pool or on the terrace.

If you really want to immerse yourself in a world of flavours, then you must try our buffet. It is offered from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., every day except on Wednesdays. The vibrant variety of fresh salads, tempting antipasti (starters) and delicious hot dishes is a feast for the senses. Treat yourself to the best and let yourself be seduced by the flavours while you recharge your batteries in a delightful atmosphere.

Would you prefer to cater for yourself? Why not! Simply book one of our apartments/suites with a fully-equipped kitchenette. We will be happy to offer advice on ingredients and recipes if you wish. And in summer you can also help yourself to vegetables, crisp salad leaves and sweet berries from our garden!
Wednesday: Day off
While we do not offer a bistro menu or buffet on Wednesdays, we will of course spoil you with coffee, delicious cakes and refreshing aperitifs. Thank you for your understanding.

In my opinion, good food is half of what makes a holiday – which is why we focus on regional and seasonal South Tyrolean produce in our kitchens. As junior manager, my job is to keep offering guests something new! So, together with my parents, we upgraded our bed & breakfast in 2017 into a 3-star hotel. Not only can we now surprise our regular guests with the new suites, but also with our new spa and relaxation area.”
